The disco-funk band Gypsy Lane was the backing band for several releases by disco superstars The Village People, Ritchie Family, and others during the golden age of disco. In 1981, the drummer for Gypsy Lane, Russell Dabney, enlisted his two talented young sons to form the boogie-soul sibling duo The Little Dabs. They scored a hit in 1982 with the catchy electro-disco track "E.T. (Every Time)," written and produced by their dad. Miami based electro/hip-hop collective known as Sonic Galactronix transform the classic track using elements of the original single into a rambunctious electro-disco fused hip-hop banger that totally eclipses the original. The new single features 4 exclusive mixes, including an extended mix and bonus instrumental and acapella versions for the aspiring DJ.
