Even with the hot summer sun shining off his new shades, and the ice melting in their drinks, Mrs. W suggests to Mr W that he puts out a "winter warmer" EP. The new song (and his other winter song), can sit alongside the tracks they couldn't fit on NEW EVERYTHING. So here it is 'MORE' NEW EVERYTHING. Goin' Away is one of Brooks' most requested "lost love" songs. It's real country. The fella loses his woman and a dog gets mentioned. On this version Sam Sweeney adds some sublime fiddle. Joanna: What's not to like about this one! A melodic little soundtrack Brooks wrote overlooking the Mediterranean Sea while they were on honeymoon in Sperlonga in Italy.
