This CD features the final part of our Stan Kenton trilogy which concentrates on the various aspects of Stan Kenton's music, the first being dance music, the second Jazz and this, the final part, which concentrates on his concert music. The structure of the CD is broken into five parts featuring Progressive Jazz, Innovations In Modern Music etc. It also features the five musicians who were at the forefront of the various orchestras as they developed over time, they were Pete Rugolo, Bill Russo, Johnny Richards, Bill Fritz and of course the main man Stan Kenton. The CD includes previously unissued material.
