Using the Shopping Cart
Using the Shopping Cart is easy. Once you have found an item that interests
you, simply click the "Add to Cart" button. When you have
finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, click the Shopping Cart icon (in
the top right corner of every page of our site).
If you wish to buy multiple quantities of an item you have placed in your
Shopping Cart, change the number in the "Qty." box. Be sure to click the
"Update Cart" button to confirm any changes.
If you wish to remove an item in your Shopping Cart, check the "Remove"
box that appears to the left of any item in your Shopping Cart and click the
"Update Cart" button.

Redeeming a Gift Certificate
Paying with a vintagevinyl.com gift certificate is easy. All you need to redeem
your gift certificate is your gift certificate code. You can find the code in the email
you received regarding your gift certificate.
If you want to redeem your gift certificate when you place a new order, just
add items to your Shopping Cart and place an order via our order form. You will be
asked to enter the claim code during checkout.
If you want to redeem your gift certificate but aren't ready to make a
purchase just yet, you can redeem it for future use through your vintagevinyl.com
My Account.
If your gift certificate covers the cost of your order, we will place the
balance in your account. The next time you place an order via
our order form, you will be able to use those gift certificate
funds. You will not have to re-enter your claim code.
If the cost of your order exceeds the value of your gift certificate, you
will be given the opportunity to provide a credit card number to pay for the
balance, to redeem another gift certificate, or to change your order.

Do I have to pay Sales Tax?
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Missouri.
Missouri State laws require that we charge sales tax on the full amount of the
order.
No sales tax is charged when buying gift certificates; purchases paid for
with gift certificates, however, will be charged sales tax if shipped to
addresses within the state of Missouri.

Availability
Please note that listed availability might not be applicable for multiple
copies of an item, and that demand for certain items like Used CDs can have an
effect on its availability. We will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order prove to
be unavailable. If you would like to inquire about availability or multiple quantities
of a particular item, send an e-mail message to

Used CD Guarantee
Vintage Vinyl, as one of the originators in the field, has set the quality
standard for used CD stores. Any CD you order from us is absolutely,
unconditionally guaranteed. That means: The disc will be in perfect condition
i.e. it will play perfectly on your player. All original artwork/booklets ect.
will be with your CD. The plastic CD case (jewel case) will be free of chips,
cracks or breaks and open and close properly. If you buy a CD from us and in
your opinion it does not meet these standards we’ll cheerfully take it back
and apply credit to your account or refund your money. We’ve long been known for
having a comprehensive used CD selection in our store at any given time. These
bargain discs move quickly, though.

Return Policy
Within 30 days of purchase, you may return any of the following items for a refund:
- Any unopened CD, DVD, or Video
- Any Used CD in its original condition
Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from vintagevinyl.com. We cannot exchange items unless they are defective or damaged. Items that are returned more than 30 days after purchase, are in unsellable condition, or are missing parts will be charged a restocking fee at our discretion.
We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. Please note that we do not refund shipping costs unless the return is a result of our error.
If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account, available to use the next time you place an order at vintagevinyl.com.
Packing and Sending Your Return
Just a few simple steps:
- Print a Shipping Label
- Pack the item(s) along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box
- Affix the Shipping Label to the outside of the box
- Drop it in the mail
Lost Your Packing Slip? Don't Worry! If you purchased the item yourself, just Log In to your vintagevinyl.com My Account, and Print the Order Summary for the Order you wish to return.

Gift Certificates
Paying with a vintagevinyl.com gift certificate is easy. All you need to redeem
your gift certificate is your gift certificate code. You can find the code in the email

Music
Keyword Search boxes can be found at the top and bottom of most pages of our site.
Enter one or more keywords of the artist's name or record's title. To filter your search,
select a format (CDs, Used CDs, LPs, or All Formats) from the first drop-down menu of the search box,
and Artist or Title from the second.
Here are some examples using Keyword Search:
- Entering "rolling stones" finds records by the Rolling Stones.
- Entering "road" finds records with the word "road" in their title
(e.g. Abbey Road by the Beatles etc.).

Video & DVD
Browsing our Video & DVD department is easy! Click the Video or DVD link
located in the menu on the left side of most pages. Search results are displayed
alphabetically by Title. Radio buttons located at the top of the results page allow
you to filter your search by "Music" or "Movies" and sort by "Title" or "Artist".
Click the "Re-Sort" button to see your updated search results.

from the drop-down menu and click Go!. Your Order Number(s), Order Date(s), and Order Status
will be displayed for the selected time period. To view full detail for any Order(s), simply
click the Order Number link.

Cancel an order
Want to cancel an open order? Log in to your vintagevinyl.com My Account. You may cancel any order provided it has
not entered the shipping process. From your account select "View Orders and
Transactions in the last week". On the Order History page, the status of the
order will be displayed. If the status is listed as "Processing" you may cancel
the order by sending email to customerservice@vintagevinyl.com.
Please include the words ORDER CANCELATION in the subject line and the Order# in
the body of the email.
If the item you want to cancel has already been
shipped, you can return the order.
